Teams are currently being formed. Coaches will receive their rosters on Tuesday. You should hear from them shortly after. Practice with trainers at Winthrop starts 9/30. Times will be posted after Tuesday. 1st game is 10/1. Uniforms can be purchased Saturday 9/30 from 9:00-10:30am or Sunday 10/1 starting at 10:00am at the Bellmore Pal office trailer at Boces. Cash or Check only.
BELLMORE STRIDERS JULY 4TH RACE
Bellmore / Merrick PAL track team has a Grand Prix during the Spring and Summer Seasons. There are 5 mile races in the Grand Prix. The athlete needs to run 3 of the 5 races to be eligible.
Our first race was the Bellmore Striders July 4th race.
Arianna Lettieri was the first female, 12 years and under with a time of 8:09.7
Livia Mikelhashvili was third in the same age group with a time of 8:34.6
Thomas Howe was the 3rd male in the 12 and under age group with a time of 7:04.3
Some of our older athletes ran the 4 mile race.

Spring track ended for our athletes with a pizza party after 7 weeks of learning the basics of track.
Meets were held on Saturdays at Mitchel Field.
The GU13 Bellmore Blue Devils (girls born in 2011) are looking to add a couple of experienced and dedicated soccer players.
We are a competitive team and currently play in division 1W of LIJSL. We also recently advanced to the finals of the LI Cup for the second year in a row.
We train 2x a week in season [with professional trainers] and 1X a week during the off-season, including participating in a winter league.
We enter both fall and summer tournaments and recently returned from a successful and fun Hershey Memorial Day weekend tournament.
Tryout are scheduled as follows:
Monday June 5, 7:00-8:15pm, JFK high school turf field [3000 Bellmore Ave, Bellmore NY]
Monday June 12, 7:00-8:15pm, JFK high school turf field [3000 Bellmore Ave, Bellmore NY]

Due to field conditions and the impending weather forecast all intramural soccer games at Boces will be cancelled today. We will plan on a makeup game on 6/4. Schedules will be updated shortly.
